About Tim
Tim Laciano (he/him) is a music supervisor, conductor, and music preparation specialist for live performance and recorded media.
He works with producers, composers, designers, and performers to create entertainment experiences that provoke questions, manifest compassion, and inspire wonder.
In addition to his world-class musicianship, Tim’s consistency, empathy, and coolness under pressure have earned him a reputation as a reliable musical leader and admired collaborator.
He toured North America with the Tony Award–winning revivals of Hello, Dolly! and The King and I and has served on the music staff at the Eugene O’Neill Theater Center, Williamstown Theatre Festival, Yale Institute for Music Theatre, and College Light Opera Company.
In 2022, he was nominated for a Jeff Award for his music direction of The King and I at Drury Lane Theatre starring Betsy Morgan and Adam Jacobs. As an accompanist he has appeared in concert with artists including Elena Shaddow, Analisa Leaming, and Nic Rouleau.
As a music copyist, Tim's clients include Elvis Costello, Once Upon A Mattress (Broadway), Mean Girls (West End), Bye Bye Birdie (Kennedy Center), New York City Center Encores!, The Irish Repertory Theatre, Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse Live, and Wonder Woman Live.
During the 2019–2020 academic year, he was the interim director of Princeton University’s Trego Singers and music director advisor for Princeton’s theater program. Tim holds a Bachelor of Arts from Yale University and studied conducting at the University of Michigan. He is a proud member of AFM Local 802.
